(1st Meeting) 19th International Human Rights Summit.

Since its inception in 2004 the Human Rights Summit has evolved into a venue to establish international partnerships and friendships with delegates and officials from countries around the world.

The 19th International Human Rights Summit is a global forum hosted by United for Human Rights and its youth initiative, Youth for Human Rights International, in partnership with leading NGOs and proudly sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Timor-Leste to the United Nations. Bringing together youth leaders, government representatives, diplomats, and civil society from over 60 countries, the Summit highlights the growing international commitment to human dignity and justice through education. Centered on the theme "Education for Peace," this year's Summit emphasizes the essential role of human rights education in building sustainable peace, drawing from key international frameworks including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 2024 UNESCO Recommendation on Education for Peace, Human Rights and Sustainable Development.
